If you are like most people, you’ve tried church before and it didn’t work out. So now when someone invites you to church with them, you are skeptical from that past hurt and left wondering if you should trust the church.
Here’s what we know to be true: Your past hurt came from people, not from Jesus.
No matter what you have done in life, Jesus loves you, cares for you, and wants to have a relationship with you. At Salem, we are a group of people trying our best to love like Jesus, even when we get it wrong. We fight for relational health and extend grace just like Jesus did. We embrace Jesus’ commands to love generously at all times to all people.
